In the world of Valhalla, there are seven Valkyrie Generals, that are the main characters of the Heroscape game. Each of these generals have their own features and characteristics, which make them unique in the game and of a more or of a less interest for each type of player.

Jandar (Heroic) is the general ruling the army which fights against Utgar, who tries to take over the whole universe. His army is made up of the Sentinel faction of Kyrie and humans, a white dragon, Omnicrons and Dzu-Teh.

Utgar (Evil) is the second general, who has malicious intentions over Valhalla. Marro, Orcs, soulborgs, undead, a dragon and many more are part of his army.

Ullar (Fantasy) is the first ally of Jandar in the fight against evil. Later on, other generals, such as Vydar, Aquilla and Einar, complete their alliance. His army is made out of vipers, elves, Shaolin Monks, Ullar Kyrie Protectors, a dragon, a ninja, a Gryphillin and a giant. 

Vydar (Tech) started as an evil general, but later on switched camps for the good. Humans and soulburgs form his army, alongside with some other more particular characters, such as a fantasy dog, a black dragon and a undead queen.

Einar (Historical) also started as an evil general, but then changed sides. The army that is lead by him is entirely made out of humans, with the following exceptions: a dragon, an Ogre, a Kyrie and the Einar Imperium Kyrie.

Aquilla (Nature) is one of the later added generals, which sprung a lot of mystery upon its appearance being the only female general. A known fact is that she is allied with the good forces of the universe and that her army consists of: the Mohican River Tribe of Native Americans, Fyorlag spiders, Axegrinders of the Burning Forge and Migol Ironwill.

Valkrill (Chaos) is the newest of the generals and was created in order to reinstate Utgar’s reign of darkness. Although he was created in evil purposes, due to the fact that he is simply chaotic and has a small army, he has been siding with the good forces at the same time.
